My favorite childhood toy was coloring books.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?

My hobbies are going to workout classes, walking/hiking with my dog, eating on nice patios, puzzles, and reading.

What inspired you to work in pediatrics?

I grew up babysitting children and wanted a career where I could continue to play with and see them develop. I also love supporting new parents and seeing them flourish from hesitant to confident.

What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?

I'm not afraid to look or act silly. I have a holistic approach and work on all aspects of development(speech, play, regulation) in my sessions, and I can make just about any toy a child chooses therapeutic in my sessions. I build rapport through answering and asking the toughest questions with compassion and care. We take it at whatever pace is most comfortable for the child and parent, ensuring they don't feel rushed or overwhelmed.
