Frequently Asked Questions

Q:

Where do the physical therapy appointments take place?

Moving and Grooving Pediatric Physical Therapy offers flexible therapy options to suit your needs, including clinic, virtual, and in-home appointments. In-clinic sessions provide a structured environment for focused care, while virtual appointments offer convenient access from anywhere. In-home sessions can be held in your home, pool, or community park to create a comfortable setting. For added flexibility, therapy can also take place at your child’s daycare, preschool, or school to enhance carryover. Additional fees apply depending on the location of the appointment.

Q:

How long are the therapy sessions?

The initial evaluation lasts approximately 75 minutes. In home sessions last 1 hour.

Q:

How can I take advantage of out-of-network benefits?

If you're looking to take advantage of out-of-network benefits, a superbill is a great tool. With a superbill, you provide payment up front and then receive an itemized report that dictates what was performed and paid for. You can submit it to your insurance company for reimbursement. If you need a superbill, just let us know, and we’d be happy to provide one!

Q:

Does my child need physical or occupational therapy?

Your child’s development is a journey filled with milestones, and sometimes they may need a little extra support along the way. Physical and occupational therapy can play a crucial role in helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential. If you have concerns for your child, you can schedule a free consultation with one of our experts. If you have a script for physical or occupational therapy, feel free to send it to us & we will get you scheduled! Learn more about the signs that your child may benefit from pediatric physical or occupational therapy.
